The IRS recently announced an expansion, on a trial basis, of the streamlined installment agreement program.  It appears that the new provisions will apply only to agreements established with ACS.  The assessed balance is being increased to $100,000 and the liability must be paid within 84 months or prior to the collection statute expiration date.
