Form 656 Booklet, Offer in Compromise
The IRS recently announced an expansion, on a trial basis, of the streamlined installment agreement program. It appears that the new provisions will apply only to agreements established with ACS. The assessed balance is being increased to $100,000 and the liability must be paid within 84 months or prior to the collection statute expiration date. Our firm provides help with Form 433F, which is the form IRS analyzes when considering all installment agreements.
